CROSS COUNTRY
SEASON
During the Cross Country season,
competition is held RAIN, HAIL or SHINE!
TRACK
& FIELD SEASON
During the summer Track & Field season, the President & the Arena Manager will inspect the
track at about 7:45am before making a decision to cancel or not due to extreme
weather conditions.
The website will be
updated at around 8.00am (Message will be displayed in the Waverley Home Page
- main page and message bar). There will not be any hotline number this
year.
Occasionally, the rain may "set in"
after we have started, in which case the safety of the track will be monitored
closely!!!
It is very unusual for a program to be cancelled.
NOTE: When a cancellation of the Waverley Centre meeting occurs because of wet
weather, all weather tracks are available at Nunawading, Oakleigh, Knox and Caulfield. Little Athletes from Waverley are welcome to make use
of these facilities.
